Pressnitztal Railroad class 251 diesel locomotive, current era. This unit was originally placed into service on the DB's 750 millimeter narrow gauge line in August of 1964. In 1971 it came to the Steiermark State Railroad and is currently in Germany again at the "Eisenbahn-Bau- und Betriebsgesellschaft Pressnitztalbahn mbH" and is based in Jöhstadt. The Pressnitztal Railroad operates this locomotive on the 750 millimeter of the Rügen Small Railroad. The locomotive has a B-B wheel arrangement. It has a factory-installed MTS decoder. The cab doors can be opened. The locomotive has a selector switch for the mode of operation. It also has two encapsulated drives, each with a Bühler motor. All of the axles are powered. Traction tires. The locomotive has 12 electrical pickups and a voltage limiting system. The headlights change over with the direction of travel, there is cab lighting, and the locomotive has two general-purpose electrical sockets with a safety feature. Length over the buffers 43.6 cm / 17-3/16".
