This is a German State Railroad Company (DRG) Köf II diesel switch engine in the typical paint scheme for Era II. Small locomotives of this type in the Köf group took over different jobs in stations, yards, and railroad maintenance facilities. The locomotive has a prototypical paint scheme and lettering, and the headlights change over with the direction of travel. It also has a built-in decoder with different functions:
